The 3rd ESSF Educational Games – Open / Inclusive / U18, to be held in Olympia & Athens, Greece, from 24–30 April 2026, represent the continuation of an innovative project that combines sport, culture, and education at the European level. After the successful first and second editions, the Educational Games have established themselves as a unique platform designed to highlight the values of fair play, inclusivity, cultural exchange, and lifelong learning through sport.
ESSF Educational Games are not only about sports competitions. They bring together young people, schools, teachers, and sports institutions to create an environment where education and sport go hand in hand. With a strong emphasis on inclusion, the Games are open to all schools – both from ESSF member countries and beyond, as long as they follow ESSF regulations and are recognized by relevant national or sports authorities.
By offering diverse sports, cultural visits, and educational workshops, the Educational Games promote the spirit of cooperation and unity among European youth. They also serve as a gateway to building sustainable partnerships with European and international sports federations, paving the way for future high-level school sport events.
