This June, Skopje became the epicenter of excitement for basketball-loving high school students as the European School Sport Federation (ESSF) successfully held an international competition for men’s and women’s teams. This competition brought together young basketball players, allowing them to show their talent and sportsmanship.
In the men’s competition, seven teams competed for the prestigious title of champion. After several exciting matches, the Nikola Karev school team from North Macedonia deservedly ascended the throne as tournament champions.
In the women’s competition, four teams competed at a high level. School Pripotocni from the Czech Republic proved to be an undisputed force on the field, winning the title of champion in the women’s competition.
This competition not only promoted sportsmanship among young people from different European countries but also provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and make lasting friends among the participants.
ESSF is credited for organizing this extraordinary event and continues to support sportsmanship and togetherness among European high school students. This tournament is just one of many successful projects that will contribute to the development of sports and education in Europe.
