ESSF and Badminton Europe Discuss Future Cooperation in Copenhagen
The European School Sport Federation continues to strengthen its cooperation with leading European sport organisations, with the aim of creating new opportunities for young athletes and further developing school sport across Europe.
During a meeting held in Copenhagen, ESSF President Ivan Dujić met with Sven Serre, President of Badminton Europe, to discuss potential areas of cooperation between the two
organisations.
The meeting focused on future institutional cooperation, mutual support, and the promotion of the upcoming ESSF Multisport Event in Poreč. Badminton Europe expressed its readiness to support the event by promoting it among its member organisations, contributing to greater visibility and wider engagement within the European badminton community.
An important topic of discussion was also the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding between ESSF and Badminton Europe. Such an agreement would provide a formal framework for future cooperation and open the door to joint initiatives in the fields of school sport, education, youth development, and sport promotion.
In addition, both sides discussed the potential for future educational projects and activities that could support young athletes, teachers, coaches, and school sport stakeholders across Europe.
This meeting represents another important step in ESSF’s strategic approach to building strong partnerships with European sport organisations and promoting the values of school sport, education, inclusion, and international cooperation.
ESSF looks forward to continuing the dialogue with Badminton Europe and further developing this partnership in the period ahead.
