It is with profound sadness that we have learned about the devastating fire in Kočani, North Macedonia, which has tragically claimed the lives of at least 59 people and left more than 155 injured. This is one of the most tragic incidents in the country’s history, and our hearts go out to all those affected.

As a valued member of the European School Sport Federation (ESSF), North Macedonia holds a special place in our community. We stand in solidarity with the people of North Macedonia during this difficult time and extend our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims.
